There’s Apple’s new A11 Bionic chipset processor, which the company says comes with a host of performance benefits. It should help power high-end AR experiences.
The A11 Bionic chipset also features a second-generation Apple-designed performance controller that helps to provide great performance when playing games and using power-hungry apps without using too much battery power. .

The iPhone 8 retains a single 12 megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation. While the iPhone 8 Plus adds a 12 megapixel telephoto camera with lowly f/2.8 aperture .
The front both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offer the same seven megapixel sensor and f/2.2 aperture as their predecessors and OIS is still missing .
Wireless Charging
The real reason behind Apple’s decision to re-introduce the glass rear on the iPhone 8 was to include support for wireless charging. After years of fans asking the company to offer wireless charging on the iPhone, Apple have finally adhered to it , and announced that that it would be compatible with Qi-certified wireless chargers.
There’s no proprietary system like with the Apple Watch, meaning it’s compatible with the millions of Qi wireless chargers found around the world.
iPhone X : Features and specs
The iPhone X, is named in honour of the range’s tenth anniversary . It will be available on November 3rd. It’s equipped with the same A11 Bionic Processor as the other launched iPhones , powering a new ‘neural engine’ that’s equipped for AI tricks ranging from image recognition to speech processing. A 64-bit super efficient processor with a new Apple-designed graphics unit, which has 30 percent more speed than the existing unit. It has six cores, and better performance than the A10 Fusion chip.
Design
The OLED display — the first in an iPhone — is called the Super Retina Display, and measures 5.8 inches, with a resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 pixels , It also has a cut-out at the top of the screen where you can find some face unlock features.
The new Super Retina Display displays more colors, P3 color instead of sRGB. This means that it will show richer and more saturates colors. Especially video and photos will benefit of this wider color range.
Apple says it has solved problems with brightness and color accuracy that sometimes affected OLED screens before, and has added Dolby Vision and HDR10 support for stunning video playback. It also features TrueTone dynamic white balance adjustment.
Face ID
To unlock the iPhone X without a home button, Apple has introduced facial recognition, which it calls Face ID. It works using the TrueDepth camera system, hidden in the notch at the top of the display. Glance at the phone, and it will light up your face, making it ready for an infrared camera to identify it. It even works in the dark. Using the A11 Bionic chip, a neural engine processes the image in real time, and has been built specifically to map the shape and contours of your face.
